Mouse.orgs X-Ray Goggles provides an excellent method for trainees to see how the code of a web page works.

Mozilla used to offer a terrific little tool called X-Ray Goggles that let you customize the code and see behind any web page. They shut it down a couple of years earlier and since then Ive been recommending that people simply
use Chromes examine tool to see the code behind a website. I even included that in
my weekly newsletter today. Today I discovered that
Mouse.org offers its own
X-Ray Goggles tool for seeing and customizing the code behind a page..

As I pointed out in the video, you might use X-Ray Goggles to alter a short article online to make it a satire story. Print the page and offer it to your students to try to recognize the satire components of the story.

Mouse.orgs X-Ray Goggles tool lets you see the code behind any web page and change that code to show anything that you want in location of the original text and images.
