What’s Onomatopoeia Mean? – Another Question from My Daughters

Every night my daughters (ages 4 and 5) ask us all kinds of intriguing questions. Some of them are about things that I havent thought about in a long time. Some of them arent simple to answer in a way that they can understand.

After supper and my rather not successful explanation of onomatopoeia, I turned to YouTube to search for a video that may assist my daughters better understand what onomatopoeia is. Thats where I discovered this cute and short video about onomatopoeia. Ill warn you, the tune is kind of catchy (if youre a five-year-old)..
