Mouse.orgs X-Ray Goggles provides a great way for students to see how the code of a web page works.

Mozilla used to offer an excellent little tool called X-Ray Goggles that let you customize the code and see behind any web page. They shut it down a couple of years earlier and given that then Ive been advising that individuals merely
use Chromes examine tool to see the code behind a website. I even included that in
my weekly newsletter this week. Today I discovered that
Mouse.org offers its own

As I pointed out in the video, you could use X-Ray Goggles to alter a post on the web to make it a satire story. Then print the page and give it to your students to attempt to identify the satire components of the story.
