Moving from “the” school to “their” school

Relationships that are one-way are not efficient for students, families, or eventually, any school or organization. We do not stay taken part in relationships that dont permit us to add to them in significant ways. How can administrators, teachers, school personnel, trainees, and households get to that location?

When our students and their families consider the connections they have with their school, what do they see? If the response does not include an abundance of their input, impact, and voice, then we are missing out on a necessary chance.

Linked households and students do not go to and partner with “the” school– they do so with “their” school. They arent visitors who satisfy, exceed, or fall brief of somebody elses expectations, however rather, architects of environments that show what is very important to them.
