If You Care About Copyright, Stop Using Blog Lovin’

As long time followers of my blog and Twitter account understand, copyright is a topic that I am passionate about. Some of them, like the popular Bloglovin service, claim that theyre not doing anything incorrect and are really helping bloggers get more direct exposure.

Bloglovin isnt helping blog writers at all. By republishing entire short articles without authorization theyre violating the initial authors copyright. By republishing whole short articles they are getting rid of any incentive to check out the actual source of the post which negates Bloglovins claim that theyre helping blog writers get more direct exposure..
Google concurs with me on this as evidenced by the fact that whenever I submit a DMCA takedown notice with Google they eliminate the upseting Bloglovin URL from their index..
I made a short, ranting video about this Bloglovin problem. If you like, you can see it here. Either method, stop utilizing Bloglovin to read post and instead use a service like Feedly which does things right or just visit your favorite blog sites directly..
