HPBOSE HP Board 10th Result 2021 LIVE Updates: Result postponed, new dates to be announced soon

The board will state the result on its official site at hpbose.org. An overall of 1,16,954 trainees registered for the class 10th board exams this year.

The HPBoSE class 10 board examinations were cancelled due to increasing COVID-19 cases. The students will be assessed on the basis of their efficiencies in the very first term, 2nd term, internal and pre-board assessment examinations held throughout the scholastic year 2020-21. This year, the board will promote all students to class 11.

In 2015, according to the information shared by the board, of over 1.04 lakh students who stood for the exam, 70,571 students– 68.11 per cent– handled to clear the test. Further, 5,617 students needed to appear for the compartmental exam while the rest had failed. In 2019, 60.79 per cent of trainees had cleared the exam.

As per the main statement by the board, all the trainees would be promoted to class 11 as per the norms recommended by CBSE for its students for the class 10 examination. In 2015, the HPBOSE class 10 exams were held in between February 22 and March 19. Therefore, it remained unaffected by the across the country lockdown caused due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Among the general classification trainees, the pass percentage was 71.56 percent in 2020, while it is 62.59 percent and 63.88 percent for arranged caste and scheduled people category students, respectively.
