(Graphic by Abhishek Mitra) HPBOSE HP Board 10th Result 2021 Updates: The HP Board of School Examinations (HPBoSE) has held off the release of class 10th outcome 2021 due to court orders, based on reports. The outcome will be released after the courts direction to the board. The result was expected to be released today. More inputs on the result date will be updated quickly.

The board will state the result on its main site at hpbose.org. An overall of 1,16,954 students enrolled for the class 10th board examinations this year.

The HPBoSE class 10 board exams were cancelled due to increasing COVID-19 cases. The trainees will be examined on the basis of their efficiencies in the very first term, 2nd term, pre-board and internal evaluation examinations held during the academic year 2020-21. This year, the board will promote all students to class 11.

As per the main declaration by the board, all the students would be promoted to class 11 as per the norms suggested by CBSE for its students for the class 10 examination.

Among the general classification trainees, the pass percentage was 71.56 per cent in 2020, while it is 62.59 per cent and 63.88 per cent for arranged caste and arranged tribe classification students, respectively.

Based on the official statement by the board, all the students would be promoted to class 11 according to the norms recommended by CBSE for its students for the class 10 examination. In 2015, the HPBOSE class 10 examinations were held in between February 22 and March 19. Therefore, it remained unaffected by the nationwide lockdown caused due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It did delay the examination procedure.

Last year, according to the information shared by the board, of over 1.04 lakh trainees who appeared for the exam, 70,571 trainees– 68.11 per cent– managed to clear the examination. Further, 5,617 trainees needed to appear for the compartmental examination while the rest had actually failed. In 2019, 60.79 percent of trainees had cleared the exam.
