Where I’d Like to Go – An Icebreaker With Google Drawings

As the brand-new school year starts lots of you might discover yourself looking for some originalities to get and break the ice to understand your brand-new students while they likewise learn more about each other. One thing that Ive constantly asked my students is “where in the world would you go if you could go anywhere today?” Just recently, Ive started considering turning that question into the timely for an activity in which students discover a bit about
Google Drawings..

As I point out in the video above, you can customize this activity to be completed with Google Slides or Google Jamboard. And, as is also shown in the video above, you can use Google Classroom to distribute a design template for the assignment.

The idea is to have students practically put themselves anywhere in the world through the usage of Google Drawings. To do this students first need to discover an image of themselves and remove the background from it. Once they have a photo of themselves then students open Google Drawings where they insert a photo of place that they want to review or visit.
