What’s Onomatopoeia Mean? – Another Question from My Daughters

Every night my children (ages 4 and 5) ask us all kinds of interesting concerns. Some of them are about things that I have not believed about in a long time. Some of them arent simple to answer in a method that they can understand.

On an associated note, Next Vista for Learning hosts a great video description of onomatopoeia. The video was produced by a high school student for one of Next Vistas numerous student video production contests.

After supper and my somewhat not successful description of onomatopoeia, I turned to YouTube to try to discover a video that may help my daughters much better understand what onomatopoeia is. Thats where I discovered this cute and brief music video about onomatopoeia. Ill alert you, the song is kind of catchy (if youre a five-year-old)..
