We’ve Got Worms! And More Questions from My Daughters

One of the worms my daughters found today was gotten by my five year old who put it in container. Her younger sis then named the worm Suzy. Now for the last couple of days theyve been adding dirt, water, and grass into the bucket to take care of Suzy every early morning and afternoon..
Suzy has been the inspiration for a bunch of questions about worms this week. Ive needed to attempt to describe responses to the following:.

Previously today we had some reasonably warm days and were able to do a little spring backyard work. My children like to attempt to assist with some of it. However like most 4 and 5 years of age kids, they rapidly get sidetracked. Such held true when they discovered some worms under some leaves in our lawn..

For a more specific response about worm recreation, have a look at this short video from the Natural History Museum..
