In 2021, a total number of 8,19,202 students appeared for the board examination of which 49,370 secured the first position, 95,758 second, and 1,65,1,86 secured the third position.
A total of 7.4 lakh students had registered for the West Bengal HS exams 2022. Of which, over 96 per cent of the students appeared in the exams. A total of 636875 students have been declared pass. The overall pass percentage this year has been recorded to be 88.44 per cent.
