Boston– April 14, 2022– Giving trainees the possibility to check out topics beyond those in a basic core high school curriculum is an important action in readying them for college and professions. Students taking online high school courses through VHS Learning will begin the 2022-2023 school year with lots of unique for-credit alternatives, from Python Programming to Law, thanks to the not-for-profits recently broadened course brochure. AP ® Chinese Language and Culture runs 33 weeks, while the other new courses are semester-length and run for 15 weeks. These new courses enable trainees to find subject locations that might not otherwise be available to them at a high school level.

The brand-new Studio Art course introduces students to the foundational elements of visual art while developing the 4C skills of imagination, communication, crucial thinking, and partnership. Trainees will evaluate artwork, experiment with artistic strategies, get involved in collaborative art jobs, offer positive feedback to peers, and review their products and processes. No previous art experience is needed.

Students will be needed to investigate current topics such as “e law” and area law as well as interview a lawyer or paralegal.
