VHS Learning Supports Students’ College and Career Readiness via Expanded Catalog and New “Exploring College & Careers” Infographic

Boston– April 14, 2022– Giving students the opportunity to check out topics beyond those in a basic core high school curriculum is an important step in preparing them for college and professions. Trainees taking online high school courses through VHS Learning will begin the 2022-2023 academic year with lots of special for-credit options, from Python Programming to Law, thanks to the nonprofits newly expanded course catalog. As part of its continuous objective to make computer system science education more available to students, VHS Learning has created its brand-new Python Programming course. In this course, trainees will learn the basics of this powerful and versatile shows language.

For instance, Business Law acts as a foundation for a first level college company law class. The course incorporates case research studies and mock trials to additional students understanding of how company law functions in the United States. Students will be needed to examine existing topics such as “e law” and area law along with interview a lawyer or paralegal.

The new Studio Art course presents trainees to the fundamental elements of visual art while developing the 4C skills of imagination, interaction, important thinking, and cooperation. Trainees will analyze artwork, explore creative strategies, take part in collaborative art projects, offer useful feedback to peers, and reflect on their products and procedures. No prior art experience is needed.

In addition to the new courses, VHS Learning has produced an” Exploring College & & Careers” infographic that highlights 7 course expedition paths for students to consider: Computer Science & & Graphic Arts, Healthcare & & Medicine, Writing & & Journalism, Business, Criminal Justice, Engineering, and Environmental Science.
