All the grantees were selected by a volunteer Grantee Selection Committee, which consisted of existing science and STEM teachers, specialists, and members of the Vernier tech assistance team who are previous teachers. The committee chose the grantees based upon various aspects, including strategies for implementing the Vernier technology and current needs of their school.

The beneficiaries– who represent a range of grade levels and geographical regions– will each get $1,000 in Vernier innovation of their picking, an one-year membership to Vernier Graphical Analysis Pro, and three hours of virtual professional development to more support their mentor.
