UP Board Class 12 English question paper leaked; exam cancelled in 24 districts

A statement released by UP Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad Director Vinay Kumar Pandey said that the assessment was cancelled in 24 districts of the state, including Agra, Mathura, Aligarh and Gorakhpur. “The English assessment in the 2nd shift is being cancelled over doubts of the question paper being disclosed. In the 24 districts, the very same was distributed and for this reason the evaluation stands cancelled there,” the declaration stated.

The statement stated that the paper was leaked in Ballia district.

The Uttar Pradesh Board evaluation for class 12 English was cancelled in 24 districts of the state after authorities stated they suspect the question paper was leaked.

It said that in the staying districts, the evaluation will be held according to schedule. “The date for holding the examination in the 24 districts will be revealed quickly,” the declaration added.

After a gap of 2 years due to Covid, examinations for class X and class XII for the Uttar Pradesh Board started on Thursday. A total of 2.97 lakh CCTV electronic cameras had been installed to stop cheating in assessments.
