UP Board Class 12 English paper leaked; exam cancelled in 24 districts

A declaration provided by UP Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad Director Vinay Kumar Pandey said that the assessment was cancelled in 24 districts of the state, consisting of Agra, Mathura, Aligarh and Gorakhpur. “The English assessment in the 2nd shift is being cancelled over doubts of the question paper being divulged. The Uttar Pradesh Board evaluation for class 12 English was cancelled in 24 districts of the state after authorities stated they think the concern paper was leaked.

The declaration stated that the paper was leaked in Ballia district.

It stated that in the staying districts, the evaluation will be held based on schedule. “The date for holding the evaluation in the 24 districts will be announced soon,” the statement included.

After a gap of 2 years due to Covid, examinations for class X and class XII for the Uttar Pradesh Board began on Thursday. A total of 2.97 lakh CCTV video cameras had been installed to stop cheating in assessments.

The state federal government had said that the stringent National Security Act (NSA) will be conjured up versus those found utilizing unreasonable means throughout the assessments. A total of 51.92 lakh students are appearing in the examinations.

The examinations will continue till April 12, and are being carried out in two shifts from 8 am to 11.15 am and 2 pm to 5.15 pm.
