Thinking back to my middle school typing class (done on electrical typewriters, not computers) I keep in mind questioning why the keyboard wasnt arranged in alphabetical order. I knew that the response was related to the frequency of usage of particular letters and likewise the early restrictions of typewriter keyboard setups.
