Thinking back to my middle school typing class (done on electric typewriters, not computer systems) I keep in mind questioning why the keyboard wasnt arranged in alphabetical order. I understood that the response was related to the frequency of use of certain letters and likewise the early limitations of typewriter keyboard setups.
