Thinking back to my middle school typing class (done on electric typewriters, not computers) I keep in mind questioning why the keyboard wasnt set up in alphabetical order. I knew that the response was related to the frequency of usage of certain letters and likewise the early limitations of typewriter keyboard configurations.
