The Story Behind QWERTY – Why Keyboards Aren’t in Alphabetical Order
Believing back to my middle school typing class (done on electrical typewriters, not computers) I keep in mind wondering why the keyboard wasnt organized in alphabetical order. I knew that the answer was related to the frequency of use of particular letters and also the early constraints of typewriter keyboard setups.
