Stanley Black & Decker and Discovery Education Announce 2021 Making for Good Challenge Winners

Silver Spring, Md. (Thursday, April 29, 2021)– Today, three trainees across the United States are recognized for innovative solutions to ecological and social problems as winners of the Stanley Black & & Decker and Discovery Education 2021 Producing Great Difficulty. Working separately or in groups of 2-4, high school trainees across the country produced 60-90 2nd videos describing innovative solutions to ecological or social issues.

The yearly challenge builds on a Stanley Black & & Decker and Discovery Education academic program– Innovation Generation– igniting, engaging, and empowering trainees to become innovators through no-cost dynamic digital resources. Through real-world expeditions of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM), Innovation Generation cultivates trainees partnership, issue fixing, and creative thinking.

The winning 2021 Making for Good Challenge groups and prizing are as follows:

First Prize: $15,000 and a Stanley Black & & Decker Prize Pack

Third Place: $5,000 and a Stanley Black & & Decker Prize Pack.
