Stanley Black & Decker and Discovery Education Announce 2021 Making for Good Challenge Winners

Silver Spring, Md. (Thursday, April 29, 2021)– Today, three students across the United States are acknowledged for ingenious solutions to environmental and social issues as winners of the Stanley Black & & Decker and Discovery Education 2021 Making for Good Challenge. Working separately or in groups of 2-4, high school trainees nationwide created 60-90 second videos laying out innovative services to ecological or societal problems.

The annual obstacle builds upon a Stanley Black & & Decker and Discovery Education instructional program– Innovation Generation– sparking, engaging, and empowering students to become innovators through no-cost dynamic digital resources. Through real-world explorations of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM), Innovation Generation cultivates students collaboration, issue resolving, and innovative thinking.

The winning 2021 Making for Good Challenge groups and treasuring are as follows:

First Prize: $15,000 and a Stanley Black & & Decker Prize Pack
