Stanley Black & Decker and Discovery Education Announce 2021 Making for Good Challenge Winners

Silver Spring, Md. (Thursday, April 29, 2021)– Today, three students throughout the United States are recognized for innovative options to societal and environmental problems as winners of the Stanley Black & & Decker and Discovery Education 2021 Producing Excellent Challenge. Working individually or in groups of 2-4, high school students nationwide produced 60-90 2nd videos outlining innovative solutions to environmental or societal issues.

The annual obstacle builds upon a Stanley Black & & Decker and Discovery Education curriculum– Innovation Generation– igniting, engaging, and empowering students to end up being innovators through no-cost vibrant digital resources. Through real-world explorations of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM), Innovation Generation cultivates students cooperation, problem resolving, and innovative thinking.

The winning 2021 Making for Good Challenge teams and prizing are as follows:

Prize: $15,000 and a Stanley Black & & Decker Prize Pack

Third Place: $5,000 and a Stanley Black & & Decker Prize Pack.
