Stanley Black & Decker and Discovery Education Announce 2021 Making for Good Challenge Winners

Silver Spring, Md. (Thursday, April 29, 2021)– Today, three trainees throughout the United States are recognized for innovative options to societal and ecological concerns as winners of the Stanley Black & & Decker and Discovery Education 2021 Making for Great Obstacle. Working separately or in teams of 2-4, high school students across the country created 60-90 second videos detailing innovative services to ecological or social issues.

The yearly difficulty develops upon a Stanley Black & & Decker and Discovery Education curriculum– Innovation Generation– sparking, engaging, and empowering trainees to become innovators through no-cost dynamic digital resources. Through real-world explorations of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM), Innovation Generation cultivates students cooperation, issue solving, and creative thinking.

The winning 2021 Making for Good Challenge teams and treasuring are as follows:

First Prize: $15,000 and a Stanley Black & & Decker Prize Pack

Third Place: $5,000 and a Stanley Black & & Decker Prize Pack.
