Stanley Black & Decker and Discovery Education Announce 2021 Making for Good Challenge Winners

Silver Spring, Md. (Thursday, April 29, 2021)– Today, three students throughout the United States are recognized for ingenious services to social and environmental concerns as winners of the Stanley Black & & Decker and Discovery Education 2021 Making for Great Difficulty. Working individually or in groups of 2-4, high school trainees nationwide produced 60-90 2nd videos detailing innovative solutions to societal or environmental issues.

The yearly obstacle builds on a Stanley Black & & Decker and Discovery Education curriculum– Innovation Generation– sparking, engaging, and empowering students to become innovators through no-cost dynamic digital resources. Through real-world expeditions of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM), Innovation Generation cultivates students cooperation, issue solving, and imaginative thinking.

The winning 2021 Making for Good Challenge groups and prizing are as follows:

Reward: $15,000 and a Stanley Black & & Decker Prize Pack

Third Place: $5,000 and a Stanley Black & & Decker Prize Pack.
