Stanley Black & Decker and Discovery Education Announce 2021 Making for Good Challenge Winners

Silver Spring, Md. (Thursday, April 29, 2021)– Today, three trainees throughout the United States are acknowledged for ingenious services to social and environmental problems as winners of the Stanley Black & & Decker and Discovery Education 2021 Producing Excellent Challenge. Working separately or in teams of 2-4, high school students across the country produced 60-90 second videos laying out innovative services to societal or ecological issues.

The annual obstacle constructs upon a Stanley Black & & Decker and Discovery Education curriculum– Innovation Generation– firing up, engaging, and empowering trainees to become innovators through no-cost dynamic digital resources. Through real-world explorations of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM), Innovation Generation cultivates trainees collaboration, problem solving, and creativity.

The winning 2021 Making for Good Challenge teams and valuing are as follows:

Prize: $15,000 and a Stanley Black & & Decker Prize Pack

eSchool Media personnel cover education technology in all its elements– from legislation and litigation, to best practices, to lessons found out and new products.
