Stanley Black & Decker and Discovery Education Announce 2021 Making for Good Challenge Winners

The yearly obstacle builds upon a Stanley Black & & Decker and Discovery Education educational program– Innovation Generation– firing up, engaging, and empowering trainees to become innovators through no-cost dynamic digital resources. Through real-world expeditions of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM), Innovation Generation cultivates students cooperation, problem solving, and imaginative thinking.

Silver Spring, Md. (Thursday, April 29, 2021)– Today, 3 trainees throughout the United States are acknowledged for ingenious services to environmental and societal concerns as winners of the Stanley Black & & Decker and Discovery Education 2021 Producing Great Challenge. Working individually or in teams of 2-4, high school trainees nationwide created 60-90 2nd videos outlining innovative solutions to social or environmental issues.

The winning 2021 Making for Good Challenge groups and prizing are as follows:

First Prize: $15,000 and a Stanley Black & & Decker Prize Pack

Esha A., a 11th grader from Wake County Northwester School District in Raleigh, NC.

Third Place: $5,000 and a Stanley Black & & Decker Prize Pack.
