Stanley Black & Decker and Discovery Education Announce 2021 Making for Good Challenge Winners

Silver Spring, Md. (Thursday, April 29, 2021)– Today, 3 trainees throughout the United States are recognized for innovative services to social and ecological concerns as winners of the Stanley Black & & Decker and Discovery Education 2021 Making for Excellent Challenge. Working individually or in teams of 2-4, high school trainees across the country developed 60-90 2nd videos laying out innovative options to ecological or societal issues.

The yearly obstacle builds on a Stanley Black & & Decker and Discovery Education academic program– Innovation Generation– igniting, engaging, and empowering trainees to become innovators through no-cost dynamic digital resources. Through real-world explorations of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM), Innovation Generation cultivates students collaboration, problem fixing, and creativity.

The winning 2021 Making for Good Challenge groups and valuing are as follows:

Prize: $15,000 and a Stanley Black & & Decker Prize Pack

Third Place: $5,000 and a Stanley Black & & Decker Prize Pack.
