Stanley Black & Decker and Discovery Education Announce 2021 Making for Good Challenge Winners

Silver Spring, Md. (Thursday, April 29, 2021)– Today, three trainees throughout the United States are recognized for innovative options to societal and environmental issues as winners of the Stanley Black & & Decker and Discovery Education 2021 Producing Great Difficulty. Working separately or in teams of 2-4, high school trainees nationwide created 60-90 2nd videos laying out ingenious solutions to societal or ecological issues.

The annual challenge develops upon a Stanley Black & & Decker and Discovery Education curriculum– Innovation Generation– firing up, engaging, and empowering trainees to become innovators through no-cost vibrant digital resources. Through real-world expeditions of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM), Innovation Generation cultivates students partnership, issue solving, and creativity.

The winning 2021 Making for Good Challenge groups and valuing are as follows:

Reward: $15,000 and a Stanley Black & & Decker Prize Pack

Third Place: $5,000 and a Stanley Black & & Decker Prize Pack.
