About CoderZ.

Between October 2021 and January 2022, over 50 teams from throughout Brazil participated in the CoderZ League, an international virtual robotics competition. All groups worked together to resolve challenges and objectives, while the top competitors advanced to the Brazilian playoffs. Team Takamassa Numuro, from SESI Crixás in Goiás (GO), advanced to the world championship which was relayed live to audiences from all over the world.

Erica Soares Tavares, instructor of the winning team, shares the impact made on her trainees: “It was a big surprise to get to the finals. Its like winning the World Cup, but for robotics! The feeling for the trainees is valuable. Their personal skills and the technical competence, were likewise enhancing robotics in the school, robotics in SESI, in our nation. Katia Aparecida Marangon Barbosa, Technological Education Manager in SESI, sees a direct connection between SESI trainees CoderZ experience and the future job market requires: “The skills the trainees develop of team effort and harmonizing, every one with their own differences, but with the capability to interact– this is a differential. Its a needed ability in the market.”.

DERRY, N.H– Feb. 23, 2022– SESI, Brazils Social Service of Market (SESI), had a vision: To gear up the kids in their network of more than 400 schools in all 27 states with the technological abilities, knowledge, and tools to become the leaders of tomorrow– the era of Market 4.0.

During the world finals, SESIs trainees contended practically with groups from USA, Ghana, Singapore, and Hong Kong– before eventually winning the title of world champions for the CoderZ League Junior Division.

This is the second year that SESI is integrating CoderZ in 27 DRs across the country. As part of the execution procedure, over 400 instructors were licensed to teach the CoderZ curriculum to over 80,000 students between the 4th and 10th grades. Following the special success of group Takamassa Numuro, many trainees are now all set to contend in the 2022 season..
