SESI Kids Win Big! SESI Crixas TEAM from Brazil Are CoderZ League Champions in the Global Virtual Coding & Robotics Competition

Erica Soares Tavares, teacher of the winning team, shares the effect made on her students: “It was a big surprise to get to the finals. Its like winning the World Cup, but for robotics! The feeling for the trainees is invaluable. Their personal abilities and the technical competence, were likewise strengthening robotics in the school, robotics in SESI, in our nation. We notice that its working, were on the best course. And this is the lasting impact I see.”

Katia Aparecida Marangon Barbosa, Technological Education Manager in SESI, sees a direct correlation between SESI trainees CoderZ experience and the future task market needs: “The skills the students establish of teamwork and harmonizing, every one with their own distinctions, but with the ability to collaborate– this is a differential. Its a required skill in the market.”.

In between October 2021 and January 2022, over 50 teams from across Brazil participated in the CoderZ League, an international virtual robotics competition. Wisley João Pereira, Executive Director of SESI, describes how CoderZ helps SESI to advance its future vision: “When we presented the CoderZ platform and league, it was a very crucial junction. CoderZ combines its curriculum theory and practice, so trainees can establish real services to genuine issues. CoderZ League played a specifically substantial function in motivating trainees to say, “we will do this since the entire world is getting involved, and we are being challenged to come up with real-life services.”

Between October 2021 and January 2022, over 50 groups from throughout Brazil took part in the CoderZ League, a worldwide virtual robotics competitors. All groups worked together to solve objectives and obstacles, while the leading competitors advanced to the Brazilian playoffs. Team Takamassa Numuro, from SESI Crixás in Goiás (GO), advanced to the world championship which was broadcast live to audiences from all over the world.
