SESI Kids Win Big! SESI Crixas TEAM from Brazil Are CoderZ League Champions in the Global Virtual Coding & Robotics Competition

DERRY, N.H– Feb. 23, 2022– SESI, Brazils Social Service of Market (SESI), had a vision: To equip the kids in their network of more than 400 schools in all 27 states with the technological abilities, understanding, and tools to become the leaders of tomorrow– the age of Industry 4.0.

As a prominent school network in Brazil and Latin America, SESI implements innovative options to meet its vision. Among them is CoderZ, a gamified coding platform that makes it easy for anyone to discover, teach, and contend, utilizing robotics to bring STEM to life!

This is the second year that SESI is incorporating CoderZ in 27 DRs across the nation. As part of the execution process, over 400 instructors were licensed to teach the CoderZ curriculum to over 80,000 students between the 10th and 4th grades. Between October 2021 and January 2022, over 50 groups from throughout Brazil took part in the CoderZ League, an international virtual robotics competition. All groups interacted to resolve challenges and objectives, while the leading competitors advanced to the Brazilian playoffs. Group Takamassa Numuro, from SESI Crixás in Goiás (GO), advanced to the world champion which was transmitted live to audiences from all over the world.
