Between October 2021 and January 2022, over 50 groups from across Brazil participated in the CoderZ League, a global virtual robotics competitors. All groups interacted to solve challenges and missions, while the top rivals advanced to the Brazilian playoffs. Group Takamassa Numuro, from SESI Crixás in Goiás (GO), advanced to the world champion which was relayed live to audiences from all over the globe.

Katia Aparecida Marangon Barbosa, Technological Education Manager in SESI, sees a direct correlation in between SESI students CoderZ experience and the future job market needs: “The skills the trainees establish of team effort and harmonizing, each one with their own distinctions, but with the capability to collaborate– this is a differential. Its a needed skill in the market.”.

Wisley João Pereira, Executive Director of SESI, describes how CoderZ helps SESI to advance its future vision: “When we introduced the CoderZ platform and league, it was an extremely important junction. CoderZ integrates its curriculum theory and practice, so trainees can develop genuine services to real issues. CoderZ League played a particularly significant function in motivating trainees to state, “we will do this since the whole world is taking part, and we are being challenged to come up with real-life solutions.”

DERRY, N.H– Feb. 23, 2022– SESI, Brazils Social Service of Industry (SESI), had a vision: To gear up the kids in their network of more than 400 schools in all 27 states with the technological abilities, knowledge, and tools to become the leaders of tomorrow– the era of Market 4.0.

As a leading school network in Brazil and Latin America, SESI executes ingenious services to meet its vision. Among them is CoderZ, a gamified coding platform that makes it simple for anybody to find out, teach, and complete, utilizing robotics to bring STEM to life!

About CoderZ.

Erica Soares Tavares, instructor of the winning team, shares the effect made on her trainees: “It was a huge surprise to get to the finals. Its like winning the World Cup, but for robotics! The feeling for the students is invaluable. Their individual abilities and the technical proficiency, were also strengthening robotics in the school, robotics in SESI, in our country. We discover that its working, were on the best path. And this is the lasting impact I see.”
