The new “checks” screen that appears just before you release your video on YouTube is an initial check that YouTube carries out to make sure that you havent submitted content that infringes on somebody elses copyright. Presumably, these checks are carried out by some magic algorithm crafted in the bowels of the Google machine..
These brand-new copyright checks might be helpful in ensuring that you have not accidentally infringed on somebodys copyrighted product prior to it goes public..
