On the topic of summertime, the June session of The Practical Ed Tech Virtual Summer Camp is starting to fill. Early riser registration is readily available now.

My suggestions to those who are leaving a school district that utilizes Google Workspaces is to put all of the files that you wish to conserve into folders in Google Drive. Then download those folders and conserve them on a desktop computer and or submit them to an individual Google account (Gmail-based) or another cloud storage service like Dropbox, Box, or OneDrive. When you have a brand-new Google Workspaces account issued by your new school district, you can when again publish those folders into your brand-new account or simply share files in between your individual and work accounts.

For some people that means they have to figure out what to with the contents of their school-issued Google accounts. Simply this week Ive had two individuals ask me what they ought to perform in that situation.

In this brief video I show how to download folders from your Google Drive and how to use Google Takeout.
