Williston Economic Development is acknowledging among their own for completing their course of study at a prestigious university.
Ann Kvande, Program Development Coordinator at WED, has actually achieved accreditation in Kent State Universitys Certified Business Advisor program.
The CBA program, developed by the university and its teachers, is created for maximum on-the-job efficiency and provides guarantee to clients that its graduates have business skills, proficiency and knowledge to effectively counsel, guide and notify entrepreneurs.

Economic Development noted that all personnel within the workplace are registered in the CBA program, with three other employees on track to finish the program later this year.

The Certified Business Advisor Certificate Program is an on-demand, self-paced eLearning program specially created for experts who recommend little business owners. To maintain CBA accreditation, a minimum of 20 hours per calendar year of continuing education should be finished and documented.

The program provides graduate-level course work including human resource management, marketing and accounting/finance classes. Kvande, who started her career with Economic Development in 2006, attained certification in the CBA program in January 2021.
