Jamboard Now Offers Version History

Version history in Jamboard works just like variation history in Google Docs and Google Slides. To access it merely open the little “3 dots” menu beside the share button in Jamboard. Once you open that menu youll see a brand-new alternative for “see variation history” at the bottom of the menu. Click “see variation history” and youll see a list of time-stamped versions or revisions of the Jamboard..
Similar to in Google Docs and Google Slides you can name the various variations of a Google Jamboard. And just like in Docs and Slides you can revert back to previous variation with just one click..

This academic year Googles Jamboard has become one of my
go-to tools for hybrid guideline. Yesterday, Google included a feature to Jamboard that Im thrilled to lastly see. That feature is version history..

Applications for Education.
Version history in Jamboard could be useful when students are interacting on a brainstorming activity or, as my trainees were doing yesterday, a flowchart creation activity. Students can work for a while on a Jamboard then talk and stop about the various versions theyve made. They can rapidly revert back to it if they choose that a previous version was much better.
