It’s That Time Again…

TED-Ed has 2 lessons that arent specifically about Daylight Saving Time but are related to the topic. The History of Keeping Time describes sundials, hourglasses, and the advancement of timezones. Second, How Did Trains Standardize Time in the United States? describes the role of railroads in the advancement of the timezones utilized in the United States (and many of Canada) today.

Daytime Saving Time ends today for much of my pals in Europe and it ends next Sunday for those people in North American states and provinces that observe Daylight Saving Time. As someone who gets up early and resides in a northern state, I invite the modification as Ill see the sun an hour earlier.
