Sea Turtles 101 is a video from National Geographics 101 series. As you might anticipate, the video covers the basics of the life and evolution of sea turtles, the number and sort of sea turtles, reproduction of sea turtles, and the environmental challenges facing sea turtles today. While not terribly appealing, the video is brief and informative.

When I was examining the weather condition projection on, earlier this week
NOAA.gov I discovered a banner revealing that
this week is Sea Turtle Week. Prior to that I didnt understand that there is a Sea Turtle Week. None-the-less it advised me of the time that I saw sea turtles nesting in Costa Rica and it triggered me to take a look at some resources for mentor and finding out about sea turtles. Heres what I found.

Google Arts and Culture provides this collection of images and videos about 5 various types of sea turtles discovered off the coast of Brazil. The imagery is nice however the collection is a little light on information.

7 Sea Turtle Facts is a helpful page published by NOAA. The page includes a number of videos about sea turtle habitat, life, and ecological difficulties facing sea turtles.

Traveling Turtles
Taking a trip Turtles is an ESRI Story Map, produced by NOAA, about 3 kinds of sea turtles found in the waters around Cape Cod and how people work to save cold-stunned sea turtles on the beaches of Cape Cod.
