Sea Turtles 101

When I was checking the weather forecast on, previously this week
NOAA.gov I discovered a banner announcing that
today is Sea Turtle Week. Prior to that I didnt understand that there is a Sea Turtle Week. None-the-less it reminded me of the time that I experienced sea turtles nesting in Costa Rica and it prompted me to take a look at some resources for mentor and finding out about sea turtles. Heres what I discovered.

Google Arts and Culture Turtle Stories
Google Arts and Culture provides this collection of imagery and videos about five various types of sea turtles discovered off the coast of Brazil. The imagery is nice however the collection is a little light on info.

Sea Turtles 101 is a video from National Geographics 101 series. As you may expect, the video covers the basics of the life and development of sea turtles, the number and type of sea turtles, reproduction of sea turtles, and the ecological difficulties facing sea turtles today. While not extremely engaging, the video is short and useful.

7 Sea Turtle Facts
7 Sea Turtle Facts is an informative page released by NOAA. The page consists of a couple of videos about sea turtle environment, life, and environmental obstacles facing sea turtles.
