Earlier today when I was checking the weather report on
NOAA.gov I saw a banner announcing that
this week is Sea Turtle Week. Prior to that I didnt know that there is a Sea Turtle Week. None-the-less it reminded me of the time that I experienced sea turtles nesting in Costa Rica and it triggered me to look at some resources for teaching and finding out about sea turtles. Heres what I discovered.

Google Arts and Culture uses this collection of images and videos about 5 various types of sea turtles found off the coast of Brazil. The imagery is great but the collection is a little light on info.

Sea Turtles 101 is a video from National Geographics 101 series. As you may expect, the video covers the basics of the life and evolution of sea turtles, the number and sort of sea turtles, reproduction of sea turtles, and the environmental obstacles dealing with sea turtles today. While not extremely appealing, the video is short and helpful.

7 Sea Turtle Facts is an useful page released by NOAA. The page includes a number of videos about sea turtle habitat, life, and environmental challenges dealing with sea turtles.
