Sea Turtles 101 is a video from National Geographics 101 series. As you may anticipate, the video covers the fundamentals of the life and development of sea turtles, the number and type of sea turtles, reproduction of sea turtles, and the ecological challenges facing sea turtles today. While not awfully appealing, the video is useful and short.

Previously this week when I was checking the weather condition projection on
NOAA.gov I observed a banner announcing that
today is Sea Turtle Week. Prior to that I didnt know that there is a Sea Turtle Week. None-the-less it advised me of the time that I saw sea turtles nesting in Costa Rica and it prompted me to take a look at some resources for teaching and finding out about sea turtles. Heres what I discovered.

Taking a trip Turtles
Traveling Turtles is an ESRI Story Map, produced by NOAA, about 3 kinds of sea turtles discovered in the waters around Cape Cod and how people work to save cold-stunned sea turtles on the beaches of Cape Cod.
