When I was inspecting the weather projection on, previously this week
NOAA.gov I saw a banner revealing that
today is Sea Turtle Week. Prior to that I didnt understand that there is a Sea Turtle Week. None-the-less it reminded me of the time that I saw sea turtles nesting in Costa Rica and it triggered me to look at some resources for teaching and finding out about sea turtles. Heres what I found.

Google Arts and Culture provides this collection of images and videos about five various kinds of sea turtles found off the coast of Brazil. The images is great but the collection is a little light on info.

Sea Turtles 101 is a video from National Geographics 101 series. As you might expect, the video covers the basics of the life and evolution of sea turtles, the number and type of sea turtles, recreation of sea turtles, and the ecological obstacles facing sea turtles today. While not extremely engaging, the video is brief and useful.

Turtle Travel Tips

7 Sea Turtle Facts is an informative page published by NOAA. The page includes a number of videos about sea turtle habitat, life, and environmental difficulties dealing with sea turtles.
