Prior to that I didnt know that there is a Sea Turtle Week. None-the-less it reminded me of the time that I saw sea turtles nesting in Costa Rica and it prompted me to look at some resources for mentor and finding out about sea turtles.

Sea Turtles 101 is a video from National Geographics 101 series. As you may anticipate, the video covers the essentials of the life and development of sea turtles, the number and type of sea turtles, reproduction of sea turtles, and the ecological difficulties dealing with sea turtles today. While not awfully engaging, the video is informative and brief.

Google Arts and Culture Turtle Stories
Google Arts and Culture provides this collection of images and videos about 5 different types of sea turtles found off the coast of Brazil. The imagery is nice but the collection is a little light on details.

Turtle Travel Tips
Turtle Travel Tips is an adorable SciShow Kids video about how leatherback sea turtles navigate countless miles of ocean to return to nesting websites.
