Sea Turtles 101 is a video from National Geographics 101 series. As you may expect, the video covers the essentials of the life and advancement of sea turtles, the number and type of sea turtles, reproduction of sea turtles, and the environmental obstacles dealing with sea turtles today. While not extremely engaging, the video is brief and helpful.

NOAA.gov I discovered a banner revealing that
this week is Sea Turtle Week. Prior to that I didnt understand that there is a Sea Turtle Week. None-the-less it reminded me of the time that I saw sea turtles nesting in Costa Rica and it prompted me to take a look at some resources for teaching and finding out about sea turtles. Heres what I discovered.

Google Arts and Culture Turtle Stories
Google Arts and Culture uses this collection of imagery and videos about 5 different types of sea turtles discovered off the coast of Brazil. The imagery is great but the collection is a little light on details.

7 Sea Turtle Facts
7 Sea Turtle Facts is an useful page released by NOAA. The page consists of a couple of videos about sea turtle environment, life, and environmental difficulties facing sea turtles.
