If You Care About Copyright, Stop Using Blog Lovin’

As long time followers of my blog site and Twitter account know, copyright is a topic that I am enthusiastic about. Some of them, like the popular Bloglovin service, claim that theyre not doing anything wrong and are actually assisting blog writers get more direct exposure.

Bloglovin isnt assisting bloggers at all. By republishing whole posts without consent theyre violating the original authors copyright. Moreover, by republishing entire articles they are eliminating any incentive to go to the real source of the short article which negates Bloglovins claim that theyre helping blog writers get more direct exposure..
Google concurs with me on this as evidenced by the fact that each time I file a DMCA takedown notification with Google they get rid of the offending Bloglovin URL from their index..
I made a short, ranting video about this Bloglovin concern. You can view it here if you like. Either way, stop utilizing Bloglovin to check out blog site posts and instead utilize a service like Feedly which does things best or simply visit your preferred blog sites straight..
