If You Care About Copyright, Stop Using Blog Lovin’

As very long time followers of my blog site and Twitter account know, copyright is a subject that I am enthusiastic about. Thats largely due to the quantity of websites that steal my work on an everyday basis. Some of them, like the popular Bloglovin service, claim that theyre refraining from doing anything wrong and are actually helping blog writers get more exposure. Both of those claims are false..

Bloglovin isnt assisting blog writers at all. By republishing entire short articles without permission theyre breaching the initial authors copyright. By republishing whole short articles they are removing any incentive to go to the real source of the article which negates Bloglovins claim that theyre assisting blog writers get more direct exposure..
Google concurs with me on this as evidenced by the fact that whenever I submit a DMCA takedown notice with Google they eliminate the angering Bloglovin URL from their index..
I made a short, ranting video about this Bloglovin issue. If you like, you can view it here. Either method, stop utilizing Bloglovin to check out article and rather utilize a service like Feedly which does things best or simply visit your favorite blog sites directly..
