If You Care About Copyright, Stop Using Blog Lovin’

As long time followers of my blog and Twitter account know, copyright is a topic that I am enthusiastic about. Some of them, like the popular Bloglovin service, claim that theyre not doing anything wrong and are really assisting bloggers get more direct exposure.

Bloglovin isnt helping bloggers at all. By republishing entire posts without consent theyre breaching the original authors copyright. By republishing whole articles they are eliminating any incentive to check out the real source of the post which negates Bloglovins claim that theyre assisting bloggers get more direct exposure..
Google agrees with me on this as evidenced by the reality that whenever I file a DMCA takedown notice with Google they eliminate the angering Bloglovin URL from their index..
I made a short, ranting video about this Bloglovin concern. You can watch it here if you like. Either way, stop using Bloglovin to check out post and instead use a service like Feedly which does things best or just visit your favorite blog sites directly..
