Google Sites can be a fantastic platform for trainees to use to preserve digital portfolios. I did that last year with my computer system science principles students. The obstacle for a teacher when trainees use Google Sites for portfolios is keeping track of updates to those portfolios..

The approach that I came up with to keep track of updates that students made to their Google Sites was to produce a weekly update project in Google Classroom. In this short video I show how to keep an eye on updates to trainees Google Sites by utilizing Google Classroom tasks. The video reveals a teachers perspective and it reveals a trainees viewpoint of this technique..
