How to Track Updates to Students’ Google Sites

Google Sites can be an excellent platform for trainees to use to keep digital portfolios. In reality, I did that in 2015 with my computer technology concepts students. The obstacle for a teacher when trainees utilize Google Sites for portfolios is tracking updates to those portfolios..

The technique that I came up with to monitor updates that trainees made to their Google Sites was to develop a weekly update assignment in Google Classroom. Then weekly students added a new page to their sites. They then had to respond to the task with a link to the new pages they made in their Google Sites..
In this brief video I demonstrate how to keep an eye on updates to trainees Google Sites by using Google Classroom tasks. The video shows a teachers perspective and it shows a trainees perspective of this method..
